Habitat: Open woody savanna with scattered pine; with abundant Logwood (2-5 m), frequent Eugenia sp (2.5 m) & Jacquinia sp (1.5 m), occasional Myrica cerifera (1.5 m), Camareria latifolia (3-5 m) providing 5%. Herb layer 70% sedges and 30% grasses together providing 40% ground cover with large patches of bare sandy soil and algal mats. Evidence of recent inundation, and some past burning.
Description: Locally frequent herb to 40 cm; white corolla tube with 4 pale pink petals.
