Habitat: Mixed deciduous & evergreen forest underplanted with Cardamon crop. Very damp environment.: Cardamon underplanting in mixed forest eventually gives way to Rhododendron forest then summit vegetation of Lyonia, Magnolia & Stransvaesia.
Description: Multi stemmed tree >4m. Lvs >80cm, lanceolate. No hairs present.
