Habitat: Common in full sun on a plateau with Pseudotsuga menziesii, Arctostaphylos sp. and Quercus sadleriana.
Description: From an evergreen shrub to 1.5m x 2.5m, leaves oblong-elliptic to 6cm x 3.5cm dark green above light green below margin entire, fruit a cylindrical capsule to 1.5cm x .6cm pale green/light brown in colour.
