Habitat: Common in full sun on the East edge of lake under stunted forest of Quercus mongolica.
Description: Deciduous suckering shrub to 1.5M with widely elliptic leaves to 3cm x 1.5cm, mid glossy green above, light green below. Fruit a green/brown cylindrical capsule to 1.5cm x 0.5cm.
