Habitat: Strip of forest along rocky stream with flat bedrock slabs, bordered by farmland
Description: Tree 12m high, stem 82cm diameter at 0.5m. Stem flued, low branches. Leaflets 1-2 glands, placed on lower part of top half of leaflet. Flower pedicel red, sparse long hairs; 2 bracteoles, white; (sub-)opposite, 10-12 x 1mm, glabrous with a few hairs at apex; hypanthium red, 4 sepals, filaments white, glabrous; ovary dark red. Flowers scented, attracting insects.
