Habitat: Belait formation: sandstone and clay. Lowland Dipterocarp Forest. Rooting from lower nodes into steep bank a little way above a water-course, in partial shade
Description: Erect and branching, suffruticose, 60(75)cm high. Old stems rooting at the lower nodes, dark reddish brown; younger stems and petioles red; laminas brittle, yellowish mid-green above, pale green beneath, tepals of male flowers greenish cream to green; stamens cream; fruits green.
