Habitat: Rocks at base of hill and also near top.
Description: cane begonia with deep brown-red woody stems with swollen nodes, leaves glossy, uniformly mid-green above, slightly pinkish beneath, leaf apex erect, veins slightly raised above, plane beneath, bracts pale green, caducous, infloresence with 2 female flowers with ovary crimson red tinged with green and 5 peachy pink-orange tepals, bracts reddish-green, male flowers on erect much-branched zigzag branches above leaves deep magenta with many small male flowers, tepals 4 yellow, fruit pendant and dangling on fine pedicel, wings papery one slightly larger.
