Description: Erect Begonia to 20cm tall, stem ferrugineous, leaves very dark green, glossy and veins impressed above, bracts pale green, distichous, flattened laterally, male flowers white, tepals 2, male infloresence elongating, female flowers with 5 white tepals, at first vertical then becoming pendant in fruit, fruit with short peduncle
