Habitat: On the edge of a large cerrado-hummock (murundum) surrounded by grassy campo.
Description: Broad-crowned shrub, 2.3m tall, 10cm d.b.h. with grey bark fissured below into a shallow stonewall-like pattern. Flowers yellow.
Miscellaneous notes: Our mateiros are confident this is a different species fromR5067.
