Habitat: Primary lower montane forest. On Mossy rock surface, earth bank and forest ground. Exposed to totally shaded.
Description: Rosette herb, leaves close to ground. Young stems, petiols and midrib beneath succulent, dark pinkish maroon. Leaves fleshy, dark dirty green above, pale glaucous green beneath, veins silvery hairy. Peduncle and pedicels dark maroon-purple. Flower pale purple, stamens 2, anthers pale yellow, filaments white; style dark purple. Fruits dark purplish brown, to 4cm long.
