Description: Dieser in peru und Brasilien einheimische Baum ist nach mexiko und in das sudliche Europa eingefuhrt worden.Er schwitzt ein Harz aus, das wie Mastix benutzt wird. In Mexiko gewinnt man davon einen Balsam, Basamum Piru genannt.
Miscellaneous notes: This native tree in Peru and Brazil has been introduced to mexico and southern Europe. It exudes a resin that is used as mastic. In Mexico the extracted balm is called Balsamum Piru.
