Habitat: Evergreen forest.
Description: Robust, clump-forming herb. Rhizome held c. 45 cm above soil on stilt roots. Leafy shoots 2.5 m long from rhizome. Leaves 20-22 per shoot, dark green above, purplish red below. Inflorescences many on scapes 5-10 cm long. Scales and lower bracts pale green. Bracts hyaline, pure white in upper quarter of inflorescence. Bracteoles white, hyaline. Calyx and corolla pale pink. Lip and anther dark pink. Fruit pink.
