Habitat: Evergreen forest.
Description: Clump-forming herb, 1.5 m n short stilt roots. Leaves c. 27 per shoot, mid green above, glaucous below. Bracts reddish brown. Bracteole and calyx clear red. Distal end of corolla tube, and corolla lobes clear red. Reflexed part of lip pink with cream midline.
