Habitat: Grassy ditch at roadside
Description: Plants in full flower. Leaves dull green, not spotted, above, pale green beneath, with a purplish-green midrib. Outer phyllaries spreading and reflexed both in flower-bud and in flower; inner phyllaries adpressed, simple (not gibbous or appendaged) at the dull brownish-purple apex. Corolla yellow, striped dull brownish-purple beneath in the outer florets. Style and its two recoiled branches yellow.
