Description: Plants sparingly in flower. Flowers dull green above, pale green beneath, with a purplish midrib. Outer phyllaries spreading and reflexed both in flower-bud and in the fully expanded flower; inner phyllaries adpressed, simple at the apex (not gibbous or appendaged). Corolla yellow, striped purplish beneath in the outer florets. Style and its two recurved branches yellow
