Habitat: Grassy, rocky sea-cliff
Description: Plants in flower, unripe fruits and sparingly ripe fruit. Leaves dark green and spotted dark purplish above, pale green beneath. Outer phyllaries recurved both in flower-bud and flower; inner phyllaries simple (not gibbous or appendaged) at the dark purple apex. Style and its recoiled branches yellow. Corolla yellow, striped brownish-purple beneath in the outer florets. Achenes pale brown; fruit receptacle flattish-convex
