Habitat: Grassy, rocky sea-cliff
Description: Plants in unripe and ripe fruit mostly shed and sparingly in flower. Outer phyllaries spreading both in flower-bud and flower; inner phyllaries simple (not gibbous or appendaged) at the dark purple apex. Corolla yellow, striped purplish beneath in the outer florets. Style and its two recoiled branches yellow. Achene pale yellow . Fruit receptacle flattish-convex
