Habitat: Grassy, rocky sea-cliffs
Description: Plants in unripe and ripe fruit mostly shed, and sparingly in flower. Outer phyllaries spreading both in flower-bud and flower; inner phyllaries simple (not gibbous or appendaged) at the dark purple apex. Corolla yellow , striped purplish beneath in the outer florets. Style and its two recoiled branches yellow. Achenes pale yellowish-red. Fruit-receptacle flattish-convex.
