Habitat: Alluvial-estuarine forest.
Description: 4 m shrub in understory, usually 1.5-2.0 m height and highly branched; leaves distichous, herbaceous, adaxially dark green and rugose, abaxially pale green; corolla 4-merous; fruits globose, green.
Miscellaneous notes: Collection sequence 14957-15003, locally common in collection area. Flowers bottled.
