Habitat: Disturbed montane evergreen forest along road side.
Description: Clump-forming herb up to 2m tall. Ligules and margins of leaf sheaths with black marks. Leafless sheaths nearly black. Fruit c. 15cm long, c. 8-7mm in diam.
