Description: Flowers early in suumer. There are young plants growing from bur in March: flowers yellow in Sept and Oct. the pods is spiral like that of Lucerne, but with a double row of curved prickles at edges. When the plant withers the ground is quite covered with the pods which stck in the fleeces of the sheep, are very difficult to remove and greatly diminish the value of the wool
