Habitat: Evergreen forest.
Description: Stilt-rooted herb forming clump c. 1 m diameter. Rhizome c. 50 cm above soil in wet places by stream. Leaves 17-23 per shoot, mid green above, light green below. Bracts brown. Bracteole and rest of flower clear pink, covered parts hyaline, exposed parts of corolla lobes and lip dark pink. Inflorescence slimy at anthesis.
