Habitat: Closed savanna dominated by shrubs such as Hypericum, Melastomataceae and Tiger fern. On SE facing slope with poor acid soil on granite.
Description: Small tree to 5m tall. Bark densely covered with 1-2cm processes. Red slash character but no sap. Old inflorescences present. Only 2 individuals in immediate area.
