Habitat: Garrigue with Periploca angustifolia, Ceratonia siliqua, Pistacia lentisiscus, Rhamnus oleoides, Euphorbia melitensis, Chiliadenus bocconei, Opuntia ficus-barbarica, Asparagus aphyllus, Teucrium flavus, T. fruticans and Anthyllis hermaniae ssp. melitensis.
Description: Tree to 3.5 m tall, densely branched, coning heavily
Miscellaneous notes: This location, which is one of only four on Malta and containing ca 100 plants (population in Malta = ca 130 plants), is in two 'pockets' very close to each other. This contains less plants and is confined to the top and steep rocky slopes of a small gorge and the other is on south-facing rocky slopes.
