Habitat: Garrigue with Periploca angustifolia, Ceratonia siliqua, Pistacia lentisiscus, Rhamnus oleoides, Euphorbia melitensis, Chiliadenus bocconei, Opuntia ficus-barbarica, Asparagus aphyllus, Teucrium flavus, T. fruticans and Anthyllis hermaniae ssp. melitensis.
Description: Densley branched shrub to 2.5m tall
Miscellaneous notes: This location, which is one of only four on Malta and containing ca 100 plants (population in Malta = ca 130 plants), is in two 'pockets' very close to each other. This one is confined to south-facing rocky slopes and the other is in and around a gorge. Some restoration is being practised in this location
