Habitat: Shaded area below trees and amongst lawn of grass.
Description: Plant habit- tufted; Ligule-ciliate membrane 0.5mm; Blade not keeled; Culm internodes hollow; Culm flattened; Sheathes keeled; Spikelets shorter than normal, c.2mm. Florets not significantly smaller than glumes on most spikelets.
