Collecting locality: Belize:Stann Creek:Flour Camp Creek; c. 10 Km east of Southern Highway & Georgetown Technical High School along Belize Aquaculture Ltd access road, near start of Flour Camp Creek.

Habitat: Dense pine woodland savanna. Frequent Pinus caribaea 15 m, Byrsonima crassifolia 1-8 m, Curatella americana 3-5 m, occasional Quercus oleoides 1-8 m & Acoelorraphe wrightii 3-5 m. Site burnt ca. 1 year previously.
Description: Rare minute herb in open damp sand with Drosera capillaris, Acisanthera crassipes & Utricularia spp.; black inflorescence with shiny silver bracts.
