Collecting locality: Belize:Stann Creek:Around 3 km East of Southern Highway; along track to citrus farm past Kanaan'tik resort turn-off, 50 m N of track.

Habitat: Closed pine savanna woodland with dense Curatella americana understory. Open canopy of frequent Pinus caribaea to 17 m, <5% canopy. Shrub layer of abundant young pine 3-5 m (10%), Curatella americana 3-5 m, Byrsonima crassifolia 3-5 m, frequent Gliricidia sepium, Miconia albicans & occasional Davilla kunthii, 40% cover. Rich herb layer with plenty of leaf litter. Burnt in past but maybe not for a few years.
Description: Frequent shrub; green legumes turning spotty purple as become ripe.
