Habitat: Open pine woodland savanna, turning into broken ridge. Abundant pine 17 m, 5%; shrub layer of occasional Acoelorraphe wrightii 6 m & Byrsonima crassifolia 6 m; open grassland with a rich herb layer including abundant Chamaecrista desvauxii, frequent Hypericum terrae-firmae, Coutoubea spicata, Melochia spicata, occasional Ageratum radicans & Sauvagesia erecta. Not burnt for many years.
Description: Rare (locally frequent) scandent herb to 50 cm; flowers delicate, pale blue ca. 0.8 cm across.
