Habitat: Open woody savanna grassland. Rare sparsely scattered Pinus caribaea to 18 m (<5%) canopy; sparse shrub layer of occasional Acoelorraphe wrightii 3-5 m, Byrsonima crassifolia 3 (-8) m & rare Curatella americana 3 m. Herb layer dominated by grasses. Evidence of past burning (>1 month previous).
Description: Occasional delicate vine to 30 cm in herb layer; large mauve-purple flower; black ants on 1 individual.
