Collecting locality: Belize:Toledo:Paynes Creek National Park; edge of Eleocharis marsh.

Habitat: Transition between open Eleocharis marsh and open savanna grassland with extensive palmetto patches. Savanna grassland dominated by grasses & sedges to 50 cm, with numerous herbs typical of wet communities such as Xyris spp. and Polygala spp. Partially burnt 2 months previously as part of prescriptive burn, not burnt for up to 4 years previously.
Description: Occasional herb in damp patches between sedge tussocks at marsh fringe; tufted habit; tiny membranaceous ligule; flat blue-green to purple leaf blades.
