Collecting locality: Belize:Belize:Manatee Forest Reserve; approximately 200 m Northeast of Coastal Highway just South of Runaway Creek Reserve.
Latitude: 17°17'13''N, Longitude: 88°27'26''W
Habitat: Dense seasonally inundated shrubland, encircling karst hill in lowland savanna. Shrubs 3-5 m including abundant Heteropteys lindeniana, frequent Dalbergia glabra and dominated by Chrysobalanus icaco on edges of formation. Ground flora sparse, dominated by sedges, but with many bare patches of soil. Clearly inundated for long periods in wet season.
