Habitat: Medium dense woody savanna (orchard) dominated by Crescentia cujete, Camareria latifolia, Myrica cerifera, Dalbergia glabra and Malpighia glabra 3-5 m. Herb layer dominated by sedges. Inundated.
Description: Frequent herb to 1.20 m; tufted habit; culm hollow at centre; small (<1 mm) hairs at leaf blade/sheath joint, no obvious ligule.
