Description: Bark in small irregularly shaped plates, deeply fissured persistant bark, bark slash and leaves smell of bitter almonds, slash is pinky red, fading to orange and then to white further into the wood. Tree 20m tall, DBH 40cm, buttressed base with undulating cross section.
