Collecting locality: Belize:Belize:Manatee Forest Reserve; ~17 Km Southeast of La Democracia & ~600 m East of Coastal Highway.
Latitude: 17°15'33''N, Longitude: 88°25'26''W
Habitat: Oak thicket (in middle of open savanna grassland). Dominated by Quercus oleoides 8 m with occasional Pinus caribaea 12 m (30%). Shrub layer (50%) with abundant Byrsonima crassifolia 0-2 m, frequent Curatella americana 2 m & occasional Schippia concolor 1-3 m. Herb layer of grass and numerous herbs (10%).
