Collecting locality: Belize:Corozal:Uacax Kai. Isolated Eleocharis marsh 300 m North of Sarteneja road at Mile 28.5, halfway between Sarteneja & Chunox.
Latitude: 18°17'35''N, Longitude: 88°17'30''W
Habitat: Open Eleocharis marsh in seasonal, deciduous forest on limestone. Marsh dominated by Eleocharis sp., pools of open water at centre & fringed by abundant Dalbergia glabra, frequent Acoelorraphe wrightii, Cameraria latifolia, occasional Crescentia cujete & Metopium brownei.
Description: Frequent creeping herb; fleshy leaves; flowers white with yellow centre maturing to pale pink with rose pink/purple centre; growing on bare ground in small island in Eleocharis marsh.
