Habitat: Growing in turf on slight slopes in partial shade amongst scattered trees and shrubs. Heavy clayey soil
Description: Flowers clear mauve with three darker short petals in centre. OIpening flat (as Moraea). Slender slightly jointed stems to 12' tall. Leaves three angled, few. Bulbs drop shaped to 1¼' long
