Habitat: on ground in lowland rain forest.
Description: Leafy shoot from under ground coming out at base of or up to 15cm from leafy stem, bracts light brown, fls bright red with a central yellow spot on large lobe. Leaf from middle part of shoot pressed.
Miscellaneous notes: In-flor and fl in alcohol.
