Habitat: Karst rock formations. Natural woodland, with flatter areas developed into terraces for small-scale farming; Vegetation: This locality is very species rich. Quercus (represented by several species), Pistacia, Spartium junceum, Styrax officinalis, Prunus ursina are all abundant. Cercis siliquastrum, Juniperus drupacea, Fraxinus, Lonicera and Prunus sp. all frequent. Common herbaceous plants include Echinops viscosus, Eryngium (at least 3 spp.), various Fabaceae and Lamiaceae all abundant, and scattered large (2m +) Umbelliferae and localised Paeonia mascula.
Description: Shrub to ca 1.8 m tall.
