Miscellaneous notes: It is several years since I first observed this plant growing on rocks on the mountains of Clova in Angus-shire; but very rare. It is lately that I was able to make up my mind in regard to this species, when I has an opportunity of consulting Jacquin's Flora Austriaca. I have likewise found it on some rocks in Fifeshire, but rare. My specimens are from Clova, in Angus-shire
