Habitat: Growing in rather stony ground on edges of cultivation near to irrigation canals and vegetable garden.
Description: A weed of cultivation. Flowers with pale yellow rays, almost un-noticeable. Involucre green, purple tipped. Narrow heads held stiffly upright in small 'bunches' on fairly wide-spreading plants. The tops about 12' across. Stiff upright habit bushy from a single stem which branches at about 4' from the ground. To 18' tall. Slightly aromatic.
