Habitat: In coarse sand on flats; in Restio community with sparse low growth; common in patches after fire and in disturbed erosion areas.
Description: Rays china-white, disc corolla wine-red; involucral bracts brown with dark wine.
Miscellaneous notes: Seedlings and older plants.
