Miscellaneous notes: Low growing herb on a steep bank in clay soil on limestone. Veins on leaf underside brigh pinkish red or green. Male flowers white with feint pink tinge at base, tepals 2. Female flowers white with outermost tepal tinged pink, all later turning green. Fruit recurving at maturity, green or reddish. 1 placenta per locule.
