Rhododendron lochiae F.Muell.

Description: Flowers 5-6, horizontal to 1/2 hanging, pinkish-red, 42 x 45 mm. Tube 30 x 10 x17 mm narrowest about 2/3 from base, distinctly curved, silvery scaly, inside of tube glabrous. Lobes 27 x 26 mm, 1/2 overlapping. Stamens predominately bunched on upper side of flowers, anthers in mouth of tube. Styles pinkish also on upper ??? slightly longer than anther. Note lateral flower buds.
