Description: 14.5 m tall and dbh 0.39 m at about 60 years old. Bark pale grey with alternate longitudinal bands 40-80 mm wide, with the surface either relatively smooth or rough and lumpy. The tree is 4x = 2n =164 and is intermediate in morphology between _T. oliveri_ and _T. miqueliana_ (both 2n =82) and possibly an allotetrapoid.
