Habitat: Growing in scree-like open patches among upland grasses on rolling valleys, no lime.
Description: Flowers pale pink ¼' diam, sessile in hard small rosettes. leaves yellow-green, almost indistinguishable. Rosettes pressed together forming dense wood-hard cushions to 3 ft across, usually somewhat flattened but mounding slightly.
