Miscellaneous notes: Brought in by local porter. Reportedly, a small stand of this bamboo is flower at its upper altitudinal limit in the Barun Khola. This bamboo, common in East Nepal above 2800m., is the highest altitude bamboo we have found. cf. Emery no.55, leaves from adjacent clump.
