Description: Tree 20m high, DBH 35cm straight bole; outer blaze brownish orange. Leaf: dull; upper surface, pale green beneath. Flower: bright red with yellowish green sepals; filaments reddish, anthers brownish red with white stripe [= line of dehiscence]
