Habitat: Hillside, among shrubs.
Description: Biennial up to 60 cm. Rootstock swollen. Leaves narrowly oblanceolate, sparingly set with long hairs, pale green. Stem covered in white or pale brown hairs. Flowers pendent, narrowly campanulate, deep purple, petals broadly obovate. Anthers black; filaments blackish purple; stigmas white.
