Habitat: North facing forest edge, growing amongst small trees and shrubs.; Vegetation: Tropical evergreen, broadleaf, lowland forest with dense understory of Melastomataceae and Rubiaceae.
Description: Tree around 5m tall, large glossy leaves, more mature (green) fruit borne on red receptacle and stalks. Green flowers.
